No offense Jennifer, but I have been renting Marbella area for more than 10 years now, and I can tell you that you wont be getting anything for that price. We only have a few 2 bed right now (only 3, as the whole coast here is desperate for more availability) and the cheapest is 1750€ (so nearly double what you say you can do). Good luck, but friendly advice is to up your budget (although actually not advisable or your you would not have put 1000) or start looking further out or better still a bit inland if you drive.
