hi the owner of the appartment we renting is going to sell it and now we are looking for a small house near marbella with 2 bedrooms for me and my partner and our baby. we can do 1000 euros per month and can get references from my hasbands work and our past landlord.

No offense Jennifer, but I have been renting Marbella area for more than 10 years now, and I can tell you that you wont be getting anything for that price. We only have a few 2 bed right now (only 3, as the whole coast here is desperate for more availability) and the cheapest is 1750€ (so nearly double what you say you can do). Good luck, but friendly advice is to up your budget (although actually not advisable or your you would not have put 1000) or start looking further out or better still a bit inland if you drive. Even then I think you will be pushed finding anything you like. Best of luck regardless and I hope my advice helps before you waste your time and end up in a predicament. Regards

Spain is getting much better at protecting the tenant from being put on the streets – but I personally wouldn’t even want to stay somewhere if I thought the landlord wanted me out! Unfortunately we dont have anything suitable right now, but will be in touch should something come up and we wish you luck finding the right property.
